As in past semesters, CAPE will again be hosting an "overview" session for U of M staff. At this session, we will give an overview of CAPE services, share information about exploring students at the U, and discuss resources and strategies to help students explore majors. We will also provide an overview of our newest role, the Change of College Coach, including when to refer to Change of College Coaching, Major Exploration Coaching, and the college transfer advisers.

For those not familiar with this initiative, the goal is to help staff and faculty understand the unique issues transfer students face and become Transfer Student Advocates.

Program Requirements:

Please join this session hosted by Career Services Administration for a Handshake overview, coaching tips, and Q&A. The session is geared toward career coaches newer to Handshake, but anyone in an advising role is welcome. The session will be recorded.

Please RSVP if interested, though an RSVP is not required to attend.

This program prepares students to become an effective ESL teacher, here at home or wherever the world takes them.  Advisors are invited to attend a brief, virtual information session to learn more about the TESL program. Info sessions will be around 10-15 minutes and are open to both advisors and interested students.
