Advising in This College
Advising Structure
Students meet with their assigned academic advisor from orientation through graduation. Students admitted to the College and the TRIO Student Support Services program transition to an upper division/major advisor after the first two years at the UMTC. Most of the majors also have advisors in departments who work closely with college advising staff to assist students with major requirements.
Transfer Information
Students should attend a scheduled information session to learn more about our majors, understand the application process, and have your questions answered. After this, they need to follow the steps for minimum requirements and prerequisite courses, CEHD application and personal statement, and the Undergraduate Change of College Form.
