Advising Structure
BSN students are assigned to a primary Academic Advisor in the Office of Student and Career Advancement Services (OSCAS). There are two academic advisors located in the Twin Cities and advise students located in the Twin Cities. There is also an advisor located in Rochester and they advise the transfer students in Rochester.
Honors students in SON will have an Honors Advisor in addition to their assigned a primary Advisor in OSCAS.
Transfer Information
Rochester is the home to our transfer student population. If you are working with a current UMTC student who is considering transferring to SON, encourage them to review the information on the college's website for future transfer students.
Referring Students
- In Person: The Office of Student and Career Advancement Services is in 2-139 Weaver-Densford Hall. They are open from 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
