Orientation Training Summer 2021: Focusing on Transfer Students

On behalf of the Advisor Training Initiatives program, we are pleased to invite you to a virtual training event preparing you for summer orientation.

As the advising community ramps up for another busy summer, the Advising Training Work Group is planning our annual training to help prepare advisors for new student orientation. This virtual session focusing on transfer students will cover need-to-know topics, such as:

• Overview from the Orientation & Transition Experiences Program
• Highlights from the Office of Admissions
• Updates from the Transfer Student Initiatives Program
• Information from International Student and Scholar Services
• Panel Conversation: Reviewing the Recent Transfer Experience (Featuring Staff and Students)

This event is the second of two central events preparing advisors for summer orientation; the first event scheduled for June 3^rd will focus on first-year student orientation.
