Description:  

The Academic Advising Network and OUE Advising Initiatives invites you to connect with colleagues across campus at a fun and interactive community event.

It is important to understand the international student experience to successfully advise international students. This workshop will give an overview of UMN's international student population, International Student and Scholar Services and student visa requirements. 

The John Tate Professional Development Conference and Awards Ceremony encourages fellowship by bringing together faculty, administrators, professional advising staff, career counselors, and other members of the extended University community interested in academic advising.

The 2023 conference will be held virtually from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 2-3, 2023. The John Tate Professional Development Conference and Awards Ceremony is sponsored by the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost and the Academic Advising Network.

Take advantage of the opportunity to dialogue and strategize about academic and student development issues relating to undergraduate students and their success. 

This conference will be held at Coffman Memorial Union on the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, campus from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. All University faculty, staff, and administrators are invited to attend.

The APAS/TES team would love to have you join us if you are interested in learning more about APAS and TES. We share helpful information for advisors and user training along with tips and tricks for processing exceptions on students' APAS reports. All APAS users are welcome and encouraged to attend.
