Applying for Dual Degree
Students wishing to add a second degree outside of their home college should fill out the Additional Degree Application form. The form is the same as the Change of College form but students select “I want to add an additional undergraduate degree” option on the form for correct application routing.
Applying for Double Major
The process for adding a double major varies by college. Students wishing to add second major typically contact the college directly to learn more about how to add on the major. Students do not submit the Change of College Form.
Applying for Multi-Institutional Enrollment
Students can temporarily enroll at another U of M campus while maintaining their enrollment at the Twin Cities campus and are referred to as multi-institutional students. Students considering this option should follow steps outlined at the multiple UMN campus webpage.
