Financial Aid Training: Focusing on Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

On behalf of the Advisor Training Initiatives team, we are pleased to invite you to join a virtual session with your advising colleagues to dig a little deeper into financial aid specifics. On August 31st, an overview of Satisfactory Academic Progress will be given. This training will focus on questions like ‘What’s the impact of SAP on aid programs? How is advisor support weighted in the SAP process? Is there support for advisors who may not support a student’s SAP appeal?’ Students typically get notifications of their SAP status about a week before the semester begins. Consider attending this session to support you in responding to upcoming questions you may soon be receiving from students.
